I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a background in Business (BA Degree MSU, MSA Degree CMU, and Dietetic verification statement Madonna University) specializing in Community Nutrition. I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a background in Business (BA Degree MSU, MSA Degree CMU, and Dietetic verification statement Madonna University) specializing in Community Nutrition. I have always loved working with children, seniors and families. I completed my Dietetic Internship with multiple rotations including a long term care facility, a corporate wellness department, a facility for individuals with developmental disabilities and have dedicated many years providing science-based nutrition education to students in schools and individuals in various community organizations.
As a Mom of two daughters, I understand the frustration of having picky eaters, trying to get kids to try new healthy foods, and the importance of fostering a healthy relationship with food at a young age. My passion is providing nutrition education to children through fun, engaging nutrition activities and taste testing. We have the power to help our kids trust their bodies and the foods they are eating. Let’s work on fueling up our future generation together!

My experience includes Vinyasa, Yin, Chair yoga, gentle yoga, kids yoga, and I was recently certified by Cosmic Kids Yoga. Favorite yoga pose: Garland (Malasana) Pose! How to do it: with your feet wider than hips width distance apart, come into a very low squat with your hips dropped and your heels on the ground (you can bring a
blanket under your heels if you have trouble bringing your heels all the way down). Bring your palms together to heart center, and gently press your elbows toward your inner thighs.
This pose opens the hips, can reduce lower back pain, and may aid in digestion!
